2025 St. Croix Lionfish Derby

Join the Caribbean Oceanic Restoration and Education Foundation (CORE) this spring for a one day Lionfish derby. CORE aims to continue to grow this event on St. Croix to help mitigate the invasive lionfish problem surrounding the island. Lionfish (Pterois spp.) are a species of fish native to the indo Pacific Ocean and are classified as an invasive species in this area. This year we have quite the prize pool available, and the t-shirts are pretty cool too. They come free with your registration!
