Are you a lionfish responder? Then you need to be submitting data whenever you take out a fish! The Lionfish Extraction Form is officially live and for your viewing pleasure I am including instructions on how to use the form. If you have any questions, problems, or suggestions please let me know!

As always, thank you for everything that you do. Whether you're spotting fish for our responders to take out, leading lionfish dives, or sharing what you have learned with a neighbor, your role is important and we appreciate it!

With summer upon us it is time to get active in Search and Response. Take some time to enjoy our beautiful waters and at the same time help out the environment by looking for the Invasive Lionfish. At the same time please help keep our waters clean and our beaches litter free.

If you find a Lionfish, please leave a lionfish Marker where you see the Lionfish if you aren’t a responder and have been trained to extract lionfish. (If you are a responder, please use this form to submit your progress) If you don’t
have a Lionfish Marker with you please get as much information as possible to
give Helpful Information to our Responders. Location information includes:
Landmarks underwater and above, Depth, Size of Lionfish, and amount of Lionfish.

If you need updated training, or have friends that are interested in helping out our Marine Environment, please contact CORE for training. There are perks those that get involved with the Caribbean Lionfish Response Program.

Please forward to your friends to help expand the volunteer base of the CORE Foundation’s Caribbean Lionfish Response Program. We have been at this for 4 years and have made great strides. But more needs to be done.

Thank you all for all your hard work,
The CORE Foundation
