C.O.R.E. volunteers took some time to present some history of the lionfish in the Caribbean to a high school class at Central High School in St Croix. We also were able to bring some de-spined lionfish for a dissection. We would like to thank the teacher, Ms Nora Santana for giving us this opportunity to instruct the students. We would also like to thank the students that participated. Jonathan Joseph, Kaylah Browne, Eryk Simon and Joshua Santiago. It was a great experience for us at C.O.R.E. as well as the students.
Thanks to C.O.R.E. members Michelle Griffith for assisting and Michael Funk for supplying the dissection tools.

We also took some time at the end of the class for one student who wanted to see how to filet a lionfish!
